Frankfurter Musik Messe 2010 RRIPM Business Manager, James Giscombe was at the “Musikmesse Frankfurt“. It is the worlds biggest international trade exhibition for musical instruments, music software, computer hardware, sheet music and accessories. It occurs every year in the Frankfurt Trade Fair Centre and has been a major event for the last 25 years. Though no physical sales are allowed, this is where a large number of the most important deals are surely made. Since the down turn in the popularity of Pop Komm and the Cologne Ring festival, this is the most important coming together of the music business in Europe. James Met with EMG manager, Christian Schulze and from this a number of label deals and co operations will develop for the artists under the RRIP Music Management Umbrella. The first to be agreed on will involve the Group PhD. Others will follow. Another important meeting was with Sebastian Lippper of FLMC Brand ID. This is a merchandising company which is part of the most important building blocks in a modern artists success. We expect great things from co operating with this company. They have years of experience specific to the music industry. We are looking forward to the coming projects. 1 April 2010 |
